2. Booking & Payment Policy

To confirm a reservation at Himmelblau B+B, the following terms apply:

• Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to secure a multi-night reservation.
• Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be settled at least 14 days prior to arrival.
• 1-Night Bookings: Require 100% advance payment at the time of booking.
• Check-in Time: From 14:00. Early bag drop or late check-ins must be arranged in advance with management.
• Check-out Time: By 10:30.

3. Cancellation Terms

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@himmelblau.co.za.

Note on Refunds: A standard 5% bank processing fee will be deducted from any repayable amounts to cover electronic transaction costs.

4. House Rules & Guest Policies

To ensure a quiet, comfortable environment for all guests, the following rules strictly apply:

• Age Restriction: Only guests 12 years of age and older can be accommodated.
• Non-Smoking: Himmelblau B+B is a 100% non-smoking establishment across all indoor areas and bedrooms.
• No Pets: Pets are strictly prohibited.
• Quiet Hours: 23:00 to 07:30. Please respect other guests’ quiet enjoyment of the space.
• Pool Hours: Open daily from 07:30 to 21:00.
• Visitors: Only registered, paying guests are permitted in guest bedrooms. No commercial or business activities are allowed on the premises.

5. Limitation of Liability & Jurisdiction

• Guest Property: In-room digital safes are provided for your valuables. Himmelblau (PTY) LTD, its owners, and staff accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings while on the premises.
• Injury & Medical: Management accepts no liability for personal injury, illness, or property damage sustained by guests or visitors during their stay.
• Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The place of jurisdiction for any legal disputes is Cape Town.

6. POPIA Privacy Notice & Data Protection

Himmelblau (PTY) LTD respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
